I seem to remember my mother could taunt my siblings and me by threatening not to serve dessert to us if we behaved as if we were sick in not wanting to eat our veggies. Heh heh, beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

Your poem made me laugh out loud! I loved how you captured the twins' personalities and their hilarious attempts to avoid Auntie Maud. The humor in their excuses - like the smell of slippers - was just brilliant. I also loved how Mum stayed one step ahead of them and delivered such a clever twist at the end. Your poem flows so naturally and keeps the energy fun all the way through. This was such a joy to read - well done
