How fun and quirky! This is very well written. I also love the text in the art work. I thought that was the actual poem for a minute. Here's to embracing our quirky self! Good luck with the contest.

I think this is great, it has so many imaginative characters displaying the most perculiar traits. I enjoyed very much reading through each of the stanza's.
Wild and wacky, crazy, bizarre and all that. It was really entertaing to read.
I cannot even pick a favourite stanza, your imagination is fantastic. But I think Leo Tarred is right up there as the funniest for me.
Best of luck with the contest I'd be surprised if this was not the winner! You have my vote.
Best Wishes
Nicki

Hi Nicki
Thank you for your lovely review and the six stars. Over the years, I have written a number of zany poems for different reasons. Many years ago, I was asked to rewrite the 12 Days of Christmas for a Family Church Christmas get-together. I had the partridge running amok and causing a bit of grief. He had a bit of fun when he met the milkmaids!
Perhaps I will publish on Fanstory if the opportunity arises.
Bless you Nicki

Oh you definitely should, I bet it's great, you have a fabulous imagination!
Happy writing!

This bizarre poem, The Peculiar Parade of Quirky, adds up a galley of weirdos who, together would certainly be selected to be in a parade like this. ..

I haven't read any other entry yet, and I don't know why I should, for to my diseased mind, this is "Aces," A-#1 - as zany as zany can get. The creative genius naming your characters is "over the top" brilliant. VERY, very well done mystery writer.

Hi Tom
I would like to say thank you very much for your enthusiastic review, Tom! I am so happy that you enjoyed the characters and the just generally crazy plot of the story. It is always a kick to know that readers are enjoying the creative aspects of the writing I do.
I have a very mischievous and quirky sense of humour: this type of poem is right up my alley.
Kind regards

Your poem had so many colorful and delightfully weird characters. It was so enjoyable that I had to read it twice. I loved cranky Anita Head and could visualize her sleeping on white bread. On Willie Stroker, did you mean to spell always incorrectly without the a for the rhythm? It's an entertaining and original poem. gayla

I absolutely loved this piece -- thank you for sharing! It was very fun to read. The rhythm and rhyme scheme added to the delight and helped it sort of bounce right off the page. I especially loved the image of May I Tuchem knighting chocolate candies. There are so many creative characters in this piece (Hugh Jass is another of my favorites). Thank you for writing and posting!

Your poem is a delightful whirlwind of quirky characters! I had such fun reading through all the wacky personalities you've created. Each one is so imaginative. The humor shines through in the descriptions. Like Professor Flapjack's obsession with non existent spoons! Keep sharing your creativity - it's truly refreshing!
