Yvette, I am definitely one of the fishy fans. Loved the light-hearted way you presented this Minute poetry. The visual is delightful. I guess one could look for a hidden meaning, but I love it just the way you have written. As usual, I love your work.

No hidden meaning at all, my friend, just some light-hearted fun to spread a few 'kid-in-all-of-us' smiles (hopefully!)... Thanx so much for your wonderful review and those shining stars, sir, and I hope you've found a bit of respite from the busyness and, especially, the ailments -- and, of course, sending some sunshine your way to relieve both!! :) ;) Take care of you and hope the writing is going well.... I'm trying to get started my prose again, but I'm not sure my psyche is up for it as I keep getting distracted with silly things - lol!! ;) Thanx again! ;) Yvette

This is a cute minute poem. I like the choice of illustration. It is the kind of poem that would also appeal to elementary aged readers. This inspired me to go look up whether or not there was a dance named after a frog from the 1950s or 1960s. The first search said there was a dance named the Frug, which is close in spelling, as a variation on the Twist.

I love fantasy poetry and this is so much fun. Love the image of the two frogs dancing. Your words take the reader to another place. Your poetic form is light and has a happy feel to it. We all need the joy of frogs dancing.
