Oh dear, such sadness, and yes there is a lot of sadness, I'm happy that I'm living in a place that is relatively safe from all the crassness and kidnapping and murder going on. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy! Give thanks and let's help however we can and pray on for our brothers and sisters who have not been so fortunate.

No sure I'd call it 'little hurts' as there are so many dark visions of large carnage depicted... but you've certainly fulfilled the contest requirements in your painting of those visions, so well done in that respect... Thanx for sharing and best of luck! :)

This diatelle, Little Hurts, has the proper formatting and lists all things big and small that provide the stimulus of pain. It seems the list includes small items that are actually big ones.

This is sad. It is also unapologetically real. Nicely executed. The impact of war and cruelty humans impose on others are beyond words. Best of luck with the contest!

Thank you. It is sad. I've been spending a lot more time listening to the news since the year turned. The stories about overseas wars are so distressing. It makes me appreciate my part of the vineyard even more. However, one can't ignore the senselessness of these conflicts and how they affect our fellow human beings.
