Ciao poet, you now have 4 votes!
I was divided by your poem and ICE.
I really like the first half while the latter part was disappointing.
Your topic interested me. The Democrats did their utmost to stop Trump from building the Wall, but he still completed about 450 miles in his first term.
During Biden's 4 year mandate, 13 million illegals entered, including criminals, pedos, and terrorists.
Biden and Harris were implementing George Soros' open society policy, madness.
Now many Democrats expect Trump to fix the issue in a few months, as if he has a magic wand.
These coming 4 years are going to be wild. Trump with tariffs and sanctions will try to put America's economy back on track .. because America is now haemorrhaging.
He risks isolating America though.. a good part of the world is tired of dancing to America's beat and many countries have chosen Brics.
I read Trump has already started to deport the first batch of illegals.

You're right, this is definitely not my best work and it was written quickly. It is a little clunky especially in the second half and the meaning is not super clear. Can't say I am a huge fan of the format, which especially on the shorter lines feels like a straightjacket.
Regarding Soros, I'm actually not really clear on his objectives. He and the Koch brothers surprisingly agreed and collaborated on some issues. Thanks for the vote! Right now it's a three-way tie.

I was talking about ICE .. the first part I loved the second fell through somewhat. It was messy
So in the end you got my vote because the topic interested me and I liked the rhymes.
George Soros uses his foundation Open Society as a smokescreen .. this charity organisation spreads all over the globe doing charitable things but in the meantime Soros has financed rebels and influenced the leadership of several countries,,
in 1992 he made the pound crash making a billion dollars.
He has been financing the influx of all those asiatics ( from Bangladesh etc ) to the Mexican border .
You should do some research .. Klaus Martin Schwab is his right hand .
Soros with other powerful people shape our world as they please.
His foundation is called Open Society says everything.
A few years ago in his homeland Soros spoke to the Hungarian Parliament saying there should be no borders , that all people should be free to enter countries even without a passport.
The Hungarian government told Soros his vision of the world was crazy and invited him to leave the country.
I actually found a link about two years ago where he was saying these things but I can’t find it anymore.
Just recently he handed over the reins to his son who is fantastic as his father about open societies , no border policies .. this causes just chaos.

Your poem is well written. It really captures the drama of politics. I love how you use "Trump" at the end. The way you describe his rise and the reactions to it feels spot on. I also appreciate the cleverness in lines like "each cut adrift on a life raft." You've got a real knack for bringing your point home with a strong finish. Keep up the great work!

This diatelle, Comeback, has the proper formatting and builds a tiny chronicle of the 47th president's historic return from historical impeachments, historical felony convictions, historical dropped prosecutions via conservative judges, historical pandering to foreign powers, and historical fleecing of the government.
