Your story is such a fun ride! The dialogue is sharp. So funny. The back and forth between the characters is hilarious. And the twist of the "evil twin" adds a great punch It's unique and keeps me hooked from start to finish. Great job!

Many of the contests encourage creative approaches. This dialogue only story is certainly creative and interesting. Your story proves that mimicking someone else, rather than being true to yourself, doesn't always get favorable results. I enjoyed your story. Best wishes in the contest.

This dialogue-only story, Baltazar, certainly holds nothing back on painting the titular character as a torture-loving being with lots of experience.

Good contest entry. Quite different.
my soul; I can lose them. Shooo, boy. Fly away; - Don't you mean can't lose them?
Good luck in the contest.

Oh dear, he walked into that trap nicely, didn't he? Now he can't get out. I love the twist at the end. A mythical story with an ending that is in tune with today. Well done, Iza, and good luck in the contest. : )) Sandra xx

Thank you so much Ms. Sandra, sometimes we do stupid things to ourselves, and then blame fate.

Everything is not always fun and games, even if it starts out that way. LOL. I always like these dialogue only contests. I don't do contests anymore, but I did do one of these years ago. Thanks for sharing.

What a twist we have on this myth, Iza. You have a fine entry for the contest and I hope you do well. I've enjoyed all your posts lately. Keep up the good work!

A Greek myth that has a modern twist. The dialogue was smooth and believable. A very strong entry for the dialogue only contest. I wish you all the luck.

Hi there! This was a very interesting dialogue, and you were able to tell a story with just a single conversation, which is awesome.
There were a couple of spots where (I think) there were some typos, or maybe I'm just missing what you were trying to say... And they made me stop, and have to read through it a few times. For example, "And what the heck wanted to prove loser!" and "I am stincking badly!"
But at the same time, I absolutely loved this bit: "Well, you got your results, freak! Say hello to Mister Vulture. Hey boy, fly over here; I have some fresh liver for you... kosher, and if you do a good job, you can have his eyes too!" Hi dark, but humorous.
So despite a few typos, I very much enjoyed reading your story.
Happy writing!

Once again you create a modern twist on an ancient fable, and the modern dialogue is fun to read. The theme here is a little vague, the writing abstract in some ways; I don't really get what this person is sacrificing herself for. Is it a personal ideology of some kind? estory
