I wrote in my final page of my 366 journal that I wouldn't look back on the past twelve months as mistakes I made can't be undone, emotions already shed. As you say, beautifully, June let the future unfold as our gift to self, one day at a time. Lovely write, cheers

-Beautiful artwork and nice presentation, June.
-You wrote a very good poem.
-Good opening lines establish the premise.
-A good message about leaving the
unpleasant things behind, not dwelling on them.
-You make a good point about
"letting the future unfold."
-It is important to "embrace the present."
-A very good closing line, as well.
-You did a good job with the poem and style.
-Have a great 2025.

Amen! I agree! That's how we must try to view the future "with an open heart
and embracing the present ~" and I like the two meanings of "present" which moves us to the "gift" in the last line. Happy New Year, June!!

This is very nicely written for the club event and I wish you the very best with all of your writing. I also wish you a very happy new year and may God bless you with measures of blessings beyond your comprehension.

I love your attitude and mindset in this uplifting New Year resolution poem. We cannot change the past, we need to appreciate the present as we don't know what the future holds. Living in the moment is the only way to truly be content. I enjoyed your fine words June, Happy New Year to you and your family, love Dolly x

The thing I love about fanstory the most, is that I can go back through my posts and although I recognise my writing mostly, it's not always the case, and it can be I'm reading it for the first time, well done. Blessings Roy

Well said, dear June. The message is loud and clear. Forgive yourself and move on..... be grateful and learn from your mistakes.... And move on. The present is a gift to enjoy. A wonderful poem!!

June,

This is a great poem for years end. Soon we leave 2024 and see what 2025 holds for us. The picture captures the essence of the poem.

Well done

Cecilia
