I enjoyed the idea of a cow following the Milkyway. I am positive this cow enjoyed the journey. Not too sure the farmer looking for said cow would be happy about it. It makes for a cute and fun to read poem.

Another one of your stellar poems. I didn't know cows wandered at night. I thought they slept. Could be why they have donkeys in the pastures to protect them at night.

Thus us very nosstalgic to me as I have seen it in the countryside when I visited my uncle as a child. We would spend finding thise who strayed during the fullmoon nights.

Both my wife and I agree this is a cute one for your haiku club entry.
Illustrations emphasize your verse.
While the last line is an interesting twist, .. "milky whey" might be an alternative meaning for Milky Way. LOL

Thank you very much, 😊 The twist is that the Milky Way is a constellation but it is also Milk from cows. milky whey wouldn't work. It's neat that you share poems with your wife.
