Christmas is sad for some people as they miss loved ones and the year may not have been as happy as expected. I think Christmas is a time to forgive and forget and get ready for a New Year ahead. The title has such a poetic ring to it; "Embers of December". The whole poem brings out the feeling of the warmth that we feel this time of year during the Christmas season.
