I have my fireplace roaring and my church bells echoed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to invite people to come celebrate the birth of the King.
Sadly, no white Christmas this year. I am perched at 700m.
The mountain top (1.400) was covered in snow though.
Maybe you could have mentioned hot chocolate.

This reads so well with a nice steady rhythmic rhythm! The sounds and joys of Christmas time.. You managed to cover a lot from the presents, fireplace, snow, lights, shopping, children, bells, sleigh rides, grandparents, love and God all in one! Nicely done.

Sp well done, Willie! And, yes - as I read I heard it in tune form. Come up with a chorus and I'll have it to you, unfortunately, right after the turn of the year. We're in the thick of moving right now but should be steeling in to the new place by mid-Jan.

Well, I got a mandolin for my birthday last Saturday. Maybe in a few months I'll be able to throw something together.
