This shows how a narcissist feels about him/herself and others. There is no real relationship with this type of person. A narcissist love him/herself too much to truly love another. So, I think you last line may be try.

Why do you want to understand it? Love and Narcism are opposites. I know because I left a violent ex-husband 30 years ago. I raised my daughter alone and 13 years ago, found real love we got married. Best wishes, Alexandra
