Hi Bill,
I read HOPE into this poem. You guys have had a rough year, no doubt about it. But you survived, one way or another. You're conquerors, and deserve a medal. At least, a celebratory dinner.
I especially enjoyed the ending,
"Next year we will strike oil,
find gold, win the lottery --
tax free." .........I hope you're right, Bill!
Nicely penned! All the Best in 2025.
Cheers,
Kimbob

Bill, a bold and complete lack of vanity list poem...I for one applaud you
for sharing your painful and plentiful anatomy surgical history. If nothing else, this should discourage anyone reading this from complaining about anything less than the loss of hands, arms and/or legs! Good luck in the
contest. teafor2

The end of a very bad for you and your wife is in sight. May the coming year bring a brighter future. You've done it together and you still have each other. I wish for good things for the both of you.

Dear Bill, you and Kathy have endured so much pain and worry this year. Now it has to be over and your life can start over again together. You have been by Kathy's side though thick and thin, and I just know she loves you as much as you obviously love her. I will pray you have the best year ever, no pain, no hospital, just doing what you enjoy together.
You and Kathy have a wonderful Christmas, my dear friend, and a happy, healthy 2025! God bless and keep you safe. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

Thank you, Sandra. I think we have all stepped into some puddles this year. The hope for a clear and clean shot at the next go-round is all we can ask for. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We certainly have. I'm hoping next year will be good for me as well. I just have to get my cataracts done, then I'll be happy. xxx
