Ha ha! I didn't see that coming! Nice build-up when I felt sure this might be the answer to Freda's frustrations. Excellent punch-line! Well done and good luck in the contest! Debbie

This is a surprise 80 word story. Poor Freda trying to spark her marriage and get some loving. It's too bad her husband tied her up and left. That's cruel. This story flows nicely from beginning to end.
Well done and good luck in the contest.

Hilarious, author. Perfectly pasted with a killer punchline. This will probably get my vote in the contest, unless I enter it too. My only recommendations for you are formatting related:
1) get rid of the indent on the dialogue on the end,
2) larger text, mainly for the benefit of older readers with weak eyes, and
3) start your text below the image. You can do this under the advanced editing options at the bottom of the editor by setting the image size to small.
Best regards,
🦍

Terrific, ss. Gratified!

I like the dark humor of this piece. Unfortunately, what we learn about Fred and Freda's relationship is all too commonplace today. A great ending which truly surprised me. Rod

Very good job. You managed to scrunch a story into so few words. The ending definitely caught me by surprise and made me laugh. The only thing is the name's confused me, Fred and Freda. Otherwise good job and good luck in the contest.

This short story is brilliantly witty and delightfully unexpected! The contrast between Fred's comfort in routine and Freda's desire for excitement is sharply drawn, leading to an amusingly ironic twist. Fred's literal interpretation of her request is a clever play on expectations.
Thank you for sharing this humorous piece!
