Your poem is so heartfelt. It grabbed onto my emotions and held them tight. I really felt the weight of the struggles you describe. Woah, incredible use of words. Incredible story. Incredible rhyme scheme. This is the best poem I've read today, and keep in mind I'm reading an ode to Robert Frost. I felt this poem deeply, as I've struggled with drug addiction myself. And that life easily could've been mine. Overall, a very, very solid poem. And I wish you the best if this story was rooted within reality. Sometimes, our life CAN look totally different than what we had imagined. This was a beautiful expression of that.

I felt this poem deeply, as I've struggled with drug addiction myself. And that life easily could've been mine. Overall, a very, very solid poem. And I wish you the best if this story was rooted within reality. Sometimes, our life CAN look totally different than what we had imagined. This was a beautiful expression of that.

Flowed well. Told a story. Left the reader room for his own interpretation without the writer spoon-feeding to them. I have dealt with drugs as well and have been surrounded by those who I do. I give it six stars because of two things: I feel like I can really relate to the writer and two, I love the line about a mask coming off that reveals we look the same (or something to that extent) Loved it, thank you
