Well, this is nice and poetic. But I think you should ask Tom to change this to a regular general fiction poetry post. As an entry into the: True Story contest, this does not fit. As is, it will automatically be disqualified on several fronts. But if Tom cannot fix it, then you still have a chance to edit this out and replace it with a true story.
Good luck.

My poem is based upon a true story of someone I knew. It is embellished with a historical perspective of Woodstock from an insiders view. Thank you for you time and commentary.

Your historical narrative, "Finding My Voice In Neverland," is a beautiful, poetic reflection on the spirit of Woodstock and the transformative power of music and community. The integration of song titles and lyrics adds depth and resonance to your prose, capturing the essence of the era and the personal journey of the musician.
Strengths:
Evocative Language: Your use of evocative and lyrical language brings the narrative to life, making it both engaging and emotionally impactful.
Integration of Music: The references to song titles and lyrics from iconic musicians like Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash effectively anchor the piece in the cultural context of Woodstock.
Personal Reflection: The personal reflections and struggles of the musician add authenticity and depth to the narrative, making it relatable and heartfelt.
