Your poem "The Yellow House" is a haunting and poignant depiction of the end of the world. The imagery is vivid and the emotions are raw, creating a powerful narrative.

Sometimes our thoughts are very simply stated to describe a very complicated history. Thank you

This is a poem that has a subject or theme about the possible end of the world. The lines I thought were strongest were:
in a heavenly-blue oblivious sky
where birds no longer fly
The stanza about children playing in the dark seems to harken back to something similar that may have happened during air raids in England, during World War II perhaps. The last four lines seem to suggest that as well.
