Grandparents are important. My grandfather was the most influential person in my life. It seems that your grandmother had a similar effect on your life.

I liked reading this story. I always get lost when I go to Ogden, too. It sounds like you have plenty of memories about your grandma, Laverna. The man you asked about Ogden, Utah, must have had a memory loss of some kind. I was curious as to if the purple bicycle belonged to your grandma or someone else in the family. Nice share.

    The bike belonged to my brother, Wayne. I don't remember a lot about my grandma. That is why the story is not very long.
