Hopefully all of our children remember "home" as a place where "love and laughter reside". May they grow up and set up their own homes blessed with the same.

Excellent chapter for our renga book. You always do so well. Your follow-up from the previews chapter fits perfectly. Thank you for participating. Good syllables count and connections between lines. You created a beautiful presentation and word imagery. Good Renga Poem composition. Well done!

I imagined Elvis singing "I'll Be Home for Christmas" -- (nobody sang it like him!)
For so many of us the holiday turns golden with joy of we can manage to get home, or host in our home, to celebrate with our loved ones!
You have made very nice entries into this Book of Renga!
More please!

June,
Nice followup for this Renga collaboration!
"Love and laughter reside" is a nice tandem phrase. Like also your l-letter alliteration.
Your choice of font, in my iPad look, shows the squiggle in the upper range and not in the middle.
The way I read your two lines, it is not needed since IMHO it reads like one thought.

Your poem has such a warm and comforting feel to it. I loved how the line "my heart follows the path home" feels like a move toward something that brings peace. Beautiful work!
