Spring means storms, and yet as winter ends, we notice a moment of calm, and a few signs that we will find dangers as the new season arrives. We see how nature gives subtle signs.

This haiku, Be Still, has the proper formatting and captures the quiet between the storm's trumpeting and sees the snapshot of a still world at peace. Nice.

This was deftly done. It seems though, that some folks aren't reading the other poets, because some of the poems are almost just copies of others, and one even talked about summer with no reference. I am having fun.

Hello, Karen, the book is growing so fast that it's hard to keep track but I am trying. I haven't seen people coping in previous stanzas, can you give me more information? The stanzas have to be linked to the previous stanza but not copying.
Thank you very much 😊

Gypsy,
This is a very beautiful poem for the Renga collection!
My favorite line is the last one; the soft tone of the rain holds still.
Good luck with the book Gypsy!
Best wishes,
Blessings,
Cindy

Nice one! I liked how you personified the thunder as it takes a deep breath and the rain holds still. It feels like that stillness in between the rainstorms that happen sometimes.

There is a powerful awareness that cones with being still. My grandma often would have be still and silent as we looked on and listened to the sounds that would otherwise be unheard. I still do it to this day.

Lovely! I could practically see feel those raindrops on the leaves and enjoyed that personification of thunder. I thought the verses were coming out of winter into spring but yours suggests winter? Thanks for sharing Debbie

The verse is late winter before spring but I used the wrong kind of presentation. I changed the pictures and added ''late winter'' in my notes. Thank you for letting me know.

This looks like a very cool book to do. I enjoyed your Haiku and the personification of the thunder and rain as fall closes and the leaves come down. Thanks for sharing.
