Hi Sandra!
What am I doing here?
Yes, I know. But my TV isn't working. Soo, you are second
on my list. Lol I liked this little poem. Reminds me of one of mine. Sorry. I came here to review you. I liked, but wanted more. Toodles.

Bless your heart, Doug. I feel honoured that you would grace me with a lovely review. This is short, but most of my poems are sooooo long, you would probably fall asleep! My children't poems can go on forever. Thanks, my friend. Happy Christmas! Love Sandra xx

This poem packs a punch at the end. In the correct syllables, it creates emotion and tells a story. Very well written, and you've paired it very well with a perfect image. I would love to try this soon. Best wishes, my Friend! :) Alex xx

Thank you so much, Alexandra! I'm delighted you enjoyed my first ever attempt at one of these. Yes, you must have a go too. Thank you for the lovely sixth star, too, my friend. Love and hugs to you and Chris. xxx Sandra xx

Sandra,
this is a poem that would chill me to the bone, but there's about 8 inches of snow outside my windows, so I am living your words.
A great Renga poem, Sandra.
Have a nice holiday.
Blessings,
Best wishes,
Cindy

Aw,thank you, Cindy, for the sixth star! 8 inches of snow!! OMG! You really are living them, aren't you? I don't do cold, I'm like a hedgehog, I hybernate!! Lol. It is cold, wet and dark here, and it's been like that all day! I hope it warms up for you soon, stay warm. Thanks again, my dear friend. Love and warm hugs. Sandra xxx

I don't know what the problem is with this machine, but it wouldn't save my comment, so I'll shorten it. Nice work. Something new for me to look at. I'll read some of the others and follow the thread. Have a wonderful day. I hope you're well. Frank

I'm having problems with mine. My 'e' either won't show, or I get a dozen all at once. It must be the weather, Frank! Lol. Thank you for perservering and enjoyed this one. I'm not used to writing little ones, but this was fun. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You paint the scene of autumn transforming into winter really well in this piece, Sandra, and I'm really impressed in how you did so in such a few short words. An excellent piece, I enjoyed reading it.

Well done, Sandra. I'm not familiar with Renga poetry, and as you know, I'm not well up on poetry, but this seems to tick all the boxes required!

Thank you, Alexis! I'm not familiar with this form either. But I liked the idea of one poet writes the three lines and another finishes it with a couplet. I'm glad you liked my first attempt, and a big hug for the sixth star! Love you lots, dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is interesting ,writing about the same topic . one gets different perspectives.
I liked yours and the presentation .very suitable for the winter..Poor leaves have no choice but to succumb to the force of the wind

You should have told us not-so-good-at-poetry writers what renga means. We had a little of that fearsome wind a few days ago here. It certainly does force the leaves to fall.

Thank you, my friend. I'm so pleased you enjoyed my first attempt.
I've now added the meaning of the Renga poetry in my author's notees, copied from Gypsy Blue Rose. Thank you for mentioning that!! Warmest hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

A renga that gave me a shiver, the winter wind is blowing here and the leaves are blowing, trees are near bare. The black and white image complements your work.

Hi Sandra, glad I dropped by...so I wouldn't miss
this one...
you must had a dream of my tree by my front porch...
I love watching it when all the leaves change in the fall...
but this year the weather got cold earlier...and the trees
changed earlier...and the rain and wind blew all the
leaves off the trees...my neighbor said we didn't even
have time to enjoy them...sigh...well there's always next year...

I love your poem my amazing friend...and your picture says
it all....very nicely written you...love yaaaaaa much...Linda xxoo

Aw thank you, Linda! When we go for our daily short walks we always check to see how many leaves have dropped, and the changes in the colours. We've been having some strong winds here lately so they are falling faster than they normally would.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed my little one, it was really fun to write. Lov you mucher!! Lol. 🥰Sandra xxx
