Sad to say, you are only too right. I hate seeing and hearing about abused children. They arrive innocent and pure, but sadly are born to monsters. I think those parents should be sterilized, no child is safe with them. As you say, they grow up broken, and unable to go out into the world as normal people. It's wrong, and so sad. Your poem is heart breaking, my friend. Too many people give up their place in Heaven to do the devil's work. Love you lots, dear friend. Sandra xx

Sad to say, you are only too right. I hate seeing and hearing about abused children. They arrive innocent and pure, but sadly are born to monsters. So true, scarred children sometimes grow up to run the world. They wreak havoc on this world. Where we fail is to give up on them after the fact. We give them a little love immediately after their traumatic event and send them out. Sadly, I was a child of that environment. I ONLY have God to thank for my existence. I pray daily for those who suffer; sadly, it's all I have to give. It really doesn't help them.

What is even more troubling to me is that they are trafficked across the southern border of this country to be used and abused as a commodity, many times in the sex industry. The creeps that exploit these children should be castrated or executed, their choice. I have no mercy for these people.

It not just bad words used against them, or physical abuse, it is demanding they fill everyday with perfect accomplishments. Excessively lofty expectations. They are no longer being allowed to dream, be restful, to do nothing. They have no time to help others either. I believe that children should not be allowed any phones, computers, x boxes are the like until middle school. They should learn to read a book. count there numbers, add figures in their brain, and dream of white unicorns, and flying horses.

This poem reads to me as a challenge to bring the saving grace of the gospel of Christ to the lost and scarred. You paint some vivid images of the abused children, and it is a sad insight to how many parents and other adults have failed their children.
