Hi there,

A good philosophy of life shared here. One that few people take and end up on a treadmill.

When we finally bought and RV and - an RV.

But, the idol time on the road opened a lot of space for reflection. - in this instance it should be idle (relaxing / lazy) rather than idol (graven image/someone to look up to).

stayed the course, despite it's disapproval - in this instance it would be its rather than its (possessive form has no apostrophe).

whole-heartedly - this can be a single word.

We only have one life and we all need to live it the way we want to live it. We might disappoint others with our choices, but we must be true to ourselves. I have met with resistance many times for my choices in life and just remember it is soon over. I am glad that your parents welcomed you back and they wanted you to live their way because they were being selfish. I am glad you have forgiven them and you are happy now.
