    When I posted about the two in 2022 , they were still going around by bike and sleeping in a tent.

    If the weather was bad they booked into a motel.

    They were in Italy this summer and they move around now in an old van , which is far safer.

    Nala is a very special cat and an Internet diva.

    Dean is a kind giant.

What an incredible story and a great haiku, though I don't know if the 1st line is a bit of a cheat to get round the contest rules ;)
I'm not sure any of my three cats would be up for this, they like the indoors too much

    It is a device I have used a few times over the years. And never had any issues.

    after all, everyone reads the title first and then the poem..

    I'm glad you liked meeting Dean and Nala.

    They are very entertaining. I hope you watched the videos I provided ..you get to see when Dean met Nala as a stray kitten.

    I was amazed how Nala from the get-go didn't jump off the bike but instead perched herself on Dean's shoulder.

    She is an exceptional cat.

    I didi indeed watch the video's and then shared them with my son whose cat Misty often sits on his shoulder as he wanders about the house.
    You sound from your comments like they are known personally to you, if so, please give Nala a scritch from me if and when you next see her.

    I'm sure your son will love the videos. Misty is a lovely name.

    Dean and Nala have visited Italy. They visited Lake Como in 2022 which is about an hour's drive from where I live.

    I followed them weekly during the pandemic and I "fell in love" with them

    Then Dean was cycling and slept in a tent with Nala.

    His regular fans, like me, were worried cause travelling like that was dangerous.

    Dean did stop and sleep sometimes in a motel when the weather really was bad.

    Now Dean moves around in an old van.
