There are so many bad social sites.... so much about the "internet" that tears us down and divides us. FanStory is a family of likeminded writers... or minimally people who enjoy the craft of writing and most of whom have an open mind and enjoy sharing varying styles of writing and learning about new friends along the way. It's been an honor to get to know you, Karen.

Indeed! Funny thing is, I'm everyone's favorite manager at work because I don't take any crap from them and tend to give them fatherly advice. Every one of them say I'm rude, because I tell them what they don't want to hear, lol.

What a sensational way to look at this community. I feel like we are all friends here as well. It is good to connect with people who have the same interests. We have writing here. Be it poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It's a common bond or putting words together in an artful way. Great poem. Gretchen
