This is a dark commentary that perfectly reflects my mood. It's creepy, Scary, and accurate. How frightening to think that "it's better to be decided upon than decided." It brings up all the books from the past: Animal Farm, l984, Brave New World, The Handmaiden's Tale, and even Ian Rand. Resist comes to mind. Well written for the times. gayla

This sounds like communism at its worst here as control of the people is paramount as all loose cannons are contained and either killed or incarcerated. We live in a world where big brother is watching, even in free societies. A poignant post, love Dolly x x x

I really enjoyed how you captured the sense of surrender here. The comparison between the old saying about the squeaky wheel and the more cynical "replaced and reconditioned" version is terrific.
