-Very nice image and presentation, Brenda.
-You have used your 20 syllables well with a good topic.
-The first line creates a peaceful mood.
-A very good second line describes it with
effective imagery and repetition of the 'h' sound.
-A good concluding line.
-Good luck in the contest.

Hello Brenda.
Your poem is very visually appealing and actually instills a feeling of hope in the reader. It meets the requirements for the poem style. We need more time like this and less time like we've been through the last week or months. I wish you good luck in the contest.

You write "the soft ambience of light" and this picture reflects just that. I've always wanted to see these kinds of lights released into the air - I bet it's beautiful.
We need symbols of hope and happiness in this country right now; it seems dark for many.
I wish you luck in the contest with your lovely poem.

An excellent entry for the 20 syllable Poem contest. What a beautiful photo you chose for your poem's presentation. I am trying my best to keep that light of hope and happiness alive for the future but every day it gets a little bit harder. Thanks for sharing.

We all do need to have a feeling of hope for our future. So many who do not have that give up and they go into drugs or crime or other wrong things. Patricia.

The poem so captured the scene in strong and compelling words. I love the calmness of heart and promise behind the poem. Well done, dear Brenda. Good luck in the contest.

I like the photo that you chose to go with this poem. It is short and sweet. The poem and photo combined make me think of the one scene in Tangled. Good job!

Light, especially soft, gentle light does seem to symbolise hope, as distinct from darkness which represents fear, despair and death. A fine twenty-syllable poem. Best wishes for the contest.

I posted this to bring hope to our country. I don't think the results of the election are good. I am so saddened by this. This is my opinion. Not sure how you look at this.

You're welcome. I would have been pensive or careful to say either way. There are things I dislike in both administrations. But the people have voted, and now I pray for the president to follow the rule of law, and tge greater law of God.
