This is a nice resolution for this part of the story. :
Jenna thanked her and soon found herself walking with Eleanor at the local art gallery. They wandered through the quiet, dimly lit halls, admiring the works displayed along the walls. For a moment, the worries of the past few days faded. This answers a few questions: When she convinced herself that it was safe to return to work, Jenna noticed a small, discreet box on her desk -- a pregnancy test. Attached was a note from Rebecca -- "I'm running out for a few things. As your friend, I am concerned. Toss the test or use it. I won't mention it again. Just take care of yourself."

I'm glad I am on the catchup so I can go straight on to the next chapter. Rape would be a hard thing for anyone to cope with but hiding it w is making it worse for Jenna. Great chapter Carol

Oh, Valda....thank you so much. I am so far behind on answering the reviews due to circumstances I can't see to control, but I do want you do know how appreciative I am. Your kindness means a lot to me.

I seem to be getting further and further behind. I don't seem to remember the rape. I'm going to have to go back further. This can't be good. Your writing is spot on though. I'll have to do better.

Forgive me for being so far behind in telling you how much I appreciate your time and support in my writing. Life has handed me another one of those "circumstances I didn't expect" and I am falling behind. Nothing new, right? Just know that your thoughts on my writing mean a lot to me. Thank you.

Forgive my cut and paste... I promise to do better!

Wow, you never let up. From one conflict to another, who will Carol pick on next. I love the short breaks between posts, a benefit to me. But for you, it means you seldom get the rewards your great writing deserves.
Thanks for sharing.

Poor Jenna is not having a good day. Good development of interactions between the characters. Little mysteries peeking around the corner to entice us. I'm looking forward to finding out the deal with the painting that Eleanor wasn't quite being forthright about.

Doyle has his fingers on the pulse of finding revenge and it's going to come at them from every side. the painting, Jenna, Donatelli and who knows what else. Thanks for the review.

Well, so she is pregnant, I'm absolutely sure. But now what? At the moment she feels totally abandoned and I'm afraid rightfully so. That is the cynical me speaking. It would be nice to be proved wrong. We'll see. Ulla xxx.

Yes, at the moment Jenna is confused and desperate... I hope things get better and she makes the right decisions for herself and the child. Thanks so much, Ulla.

UH-OH. This is just what I was worried about previously. Clever you leaving us with this life-altering cliffhanger! Rebecca is very intuitive. Maybe. Or she's sly and shifty -- I still don't know how I feel about her.
Donatelli needs a swift kick in his, er, ego. (If you don't mind my saying so)--

SO much more to say, but I'm way behind and must push forward! Great writing thus far!

She's pregnant - but to the rapist presumably .... Not good. Matthew won't understand - and what a mood he was already in! Eleanor would not have made a mistake about the painting.
Well done.

Matthew's about to have an avalanche of emotions fall on him and he's going to have to struggle through it. Hopefully, with the help of his friends, he'll find his way back home. Thanks for the review, Wendy.

Oh, this is frustrating. I guess Jenna was raped? The nightmare seems to say so. I hate it when characters keep secrets and the long delay in telling someone causes more harm to relationships with everyone. That's why I gave up on Kdrama - so many of the good characters kept information from the very people who could help them. Okay, I'm done venting!

secret life of CJ Grey?" (You have "Gray" later so you might want to keep it consistent)

Poor Jenna. She's so sick, and then to have Matthew give her the cold shoulder on top of it must have really hurt her. Rebecca is certainly a good friend to her, and she needs one now. Good writing, and a good chapter. Blessings. Carol
