Yes, our mothers know us so well. Your words are heart felt and I can relate to your poem. I miss my mother too. "Mother, a tapestry of patience and grace" is a perfect line. Excellent free verse poem full of love.

It is a very good poem that I can relate to as well. My Mom died a few years ago, and the anniversary was Oct. 27th. I miss her every day. I've lost a lot of people, but her death rocked me harder than most.
