What a powerful piece about an illness that is so often misunderstood. What a difficult disease to deal with when just existing is a chore and the option to eat feels undeserved. I am happy to have a 6 star for this one. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much for reading. Trust me, I have lots of reasons to recover, myself included. This one was just focusing on a particularly intense emotion during a certain part of treatment I apologize for not responding sooner. I could post, but not reply to reviews while I was in the hospital. Turns out there are downsides to only having a phone.

Anorexia is such a complex illness as it is about the body and the mind. Having a focus on love and a partner rather than oneself sounds like a distraction that works here. An unusually and pleasing poem with a positive outcome, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
