Well, Lady Iza, I can tell you that if fate ever brought us together, it would be 'Look out World'!! Extroverts unite and single ladies don't need (really don't need!!!!) a man in the picture to live life! :) Absolutely love your writing here and I do plan to celebrate my upcoming 60th with much more fanfare than my 50th (which was not much at all since I was still married...lol!). Thanx for the WONDERFUL offering of true story and the beautiful picture of Lady Iza! ;) Yvette

You can't pay too much attention to what people say and do, as most just like to hear their own voices. They haven't figured out that having two ears and one mouth is a hint to listen twice as much as they talk. And believe me, as a man who travels alone, I get stereotypes as much as the women. And even when I say I'm not into hookup with strangers, they still don't believe me. :-) Thanks for sharing.

I don't date, haven't in years. I do agree that a lot of women seem desperate, but I think that's mostly because there aren't many decent men to choose from. And sadly, there aren't many good women either. Most people just looking for hookups. I feel sorriest for young people, never experiencing the thrill of the chase. We're a messed up world. But hang tough, there are a few nice men and women left in this world who still believe in romance, respect, appreciation. :-)

Embrace the role you're meant to play with confidence and passion. Always be honest and authentic; trust that God will guide you toward your dreams.
I had to learn this again this year and at 76 I too can be who I am and do what I love to do - write!
