Nicely done. The repetition of "They're wearing us down" adds an almost hypnotic feel to your poem. I could feel the defiance. This has a unique pulse to your poem. I like how you share it in a way that feels a little intense. Great work it's such a well done poem and makes you think!

One thing I learnt from school and playing sport, (and a few mentors on the way) is not to be swayed by the things or attitudes of other people, they are as prone to mistakes as I am, but yes, they can wear us down, and discourage us, but there's only one direction to take in life...forward, beautifully written, blessings Roy

One thing I learnt from school and playing sport, (and a few mentors on the way) is not to be swayed by the things or attitudes of other people, they are as prone to mistakes as I am, but yes, they can wear us down, and discourage us, but there's only one direction to take in life...forward, beautifully written, blessings Roy
