Hello Debbie,
This poem is quite different from the ones you usually write, but equally beautiful.
The name Rhonda sounds very familiar, but I'm not sure who she is, so it doesn't make much sense for me to write anything even though I'd love to...
Will think about it.
P.S. Is that the name she uses on FS?

Thank you so much, Maria, for this kind and generous review! Rhonda's name on FS is davisr (Rhonda). She writes wonderful fantasy which I'm sure you've probably seen. I was going to explain the background to Wayne's stroke but it might be easier for you to read the link below from Rhonda:

He's making good progress now but it's been touch and go. And incredibly stressful for Rhonda, as you can imagine, when you read her post.
Thank you again, Maria. Take care Debbie xx

Thanks. I'll read her story. Yesterday, after I wrote to you, I saw we were friends on FB, but I hardly ever use it nowadays.
I hope you are doing well.
BTW, I saw Debra in Manchester the second week of October, but only for a few hours. We had dinner with our husbands.
We spent six days there because my favourite band was on tour and they didn't come to Spain.
As the tour went so well, they are doing a second part in April and I'll go to see them here in Madrid, in Barcelona and in Germany where I have a friend.
    Take care,
    MJ

Hemingway also wrote that the places we are broken is how the light gets in, or something to that effect -- I love the optimism but sometimes wish that life was a little easier... *sigh*
Your poem is wonderful encouragement, and beautifully written.

What a beautiful poignant poetry. I particularly like the line - 'when light seems lost in darkness' how true in this turgid world that we live in.

Best wishes

This was beautiful. I read another poem about Wayne and Rhonda yesterday. I don't know them, but my prayers are with them. I hope all goes well for them.

Hello Debbie,
that's a very nice poem for Wayne and Rhonda. It seems that as we get older, every week there is someone we know who is going through a medical issue. It's nice knowing we have friends that care.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Thank you so much, Tom, for this kind and thoughtful review! Yes, you're right about that and, going into winter is never a good time. At least, Wayne is on the mend. Take care Debbie

That's beautiful Debbie, I was wondering what all the poems were about and the first one I went into today was Rhonda's wjat a terrible fright they all got, so traumatic for them, thank God he's okay and on the mend and this story has a haply ending. Wishing Wayne a speedy and full recovery!
Well done very thoughtful of you!
Best Wishes

Hello, Debbie.
This poem is very nicely written in style and content. You have touched upon the emotional and physical events that occurred to Wayne and Rhonda. You did an outstanding job of narrating them. It is written that all can understand

Nicely written, Debbie. I don't know who Wayne is but I, too, wish him a speedy recovery. Yes, his courage and will to carry on will set him free. Also, the best of wishes for Rhonda, too.

Thank you so much, Sal, for this kind and reflective review which I greatly value. We were all so concerned for them both. In fact Wayne's crisis reminded me of yours when your sight started fading while driving home. Horrible beyond words! Hoping that you're keeping well, Sal, and your deck and property are back to normal. Perhaps some more peaceful weather for a while? Take care Debbie xo
