This is a nicely written poem for the 20 syllable contest, and I wish you the very best you have a lovely weekend and may your week be blessed. God bless you. Patricia.

The sense of wonder in your words is terrific. You do a great job of inviting readers to reflect on their own journeys. I love how you share the idea that it's never too late to learn about oneself. Great job!

Michael, thank you for the kind words. I've been doing a lot of life reflection lately. You get to a point where you realize there's more time behind you than in front of you, and you start to wonder about your own worth. What makes me ME?

This is a great entry for the 20 syllable poem competition. It is a sad truth that it takes us decades of living and experience to finally understand our true selves, who we really are, what we can do and be. The lucky ones realize in time to enjoy it, sadly some never get the chance. Well done!

Life can be consuming and we often find ourselves doing everyone's bidding and forget who we are and what we want out of life, I can identify with your words here Kristine, love Dolly x

Dolly, thank you for the review and the support of my reflection. Yeah, more time behind me than in front of me, and I have a whole lifetime of things I still want to explore, just because I can now.

A wonderful reflection and realization woven into a contest entry here -- well done! ;) I would suggest, however, that the period at the end is unnecessary (obviously the end) and it takes away from the simplicity of the presented thought in such a simplistic form.... it shouldn't END here, but push the reader to contemplate further... Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)
