That's been the story since the Garden of Eden. God gives us what's good for us and men wantonly take more, A godly woman should not be pursued by someone with Satanic advances. To that man, that woman should be unattainable.

What a powerful betrayal poem, Sarah. It is full of strength as you tell of how satan took over the night angel of her dreams and can cause such a stir in her and she doesn't even realize how evil it is until it is too late. (I also notice that you don't capitalize satan's name either. I love it. I always say that to me he is not a proper noun because there is nothing proper about him. Love your free verse, my dear friend. Beautiful!!!! Love, Debi

This poem, Work of Evil, has the proper formatting and allows that a champion becomes the tool of an evil spirit, with the knowledge and access of a friend.
