I am wondering now if things will develop more between Diantha and Atrius now that they have been reunited. Atrius does seem to be like a changed person since Zeus made him a centaur. A well written chapter, Rhonda, I really enjoyed it.

I like how Phoebus and Diantha meet. It reminds me a lot of how Anthos/Theo meet where he took such good care of Echo, feeding her. I would have thought White Lightning's real name was Perseverance but that's given to Echo. Lol.

What a lovely story, you have a flair for the romantic, but written in the imaginative art of of fantasy, with mythical creatures, so far only a centaur who talks horse, and probably a number of other languages. Your love for horses must have precipitated that, beautifully written Rhonda, blessings Roy

I really love how you build the story of characters as if a part of nature. It's as if nature and the speculative parts in it are a character in themselves. And I got a kick out of how you used the many hats. Oh I'm a doctor, and then what else, "I'm a king." Your story has so much depth.

What a wonderful place to "land" when your world is turned upside down, and what a nicer caretaker than Atrius. You've teased us with so many questions but made the reader not want to rush to get there. It's far more enjoyable to drift and learn as we go. Awesome, Rhonda. I loved it!

Beautifully told, Rhonda! The section about White Lightning got me really quite emotional as we entered another realm of nature that always becomes so real in your story. Also I enjoyed the further fleshing out of Atrius' character, defining him as a very caring, sensitive and noble character (with impressively handsome looks too - the complete package:)). This chapter helps to explain the background (I'm still a bit worried about Cassie) but also maintain a sense of foreboding that Diantha isn't out of the woods yet (so to speak). Well done, Rhonda!
