how so wonderfully romantic dear poet. I was captured within the beautiful metaphoric ride you allowed me to take in reading and visualising every word.
A truly stunning composition, presentation and delivered Ryokan... my senses tingled by sightful and mouth-watering description.
'Nature takes me to your door...
on the wings of the Morning star'... stunning!
I want you to know... same here... the love I have, is unconditional.
With our thoughts we create...
the all that we are.

Absolutely amazingly done. You've really encapsulated the fundamentality of strong human emotions like love. One just knows something, like moss knows which side of the tree to grow on.

I love the imagery in your poem. Each line speaks of the deep love the speaker has for her love. Her comparisons seem whimsical in the beginning and then more earthbound when she notes the cedar smell of his cabin and the earthy smell of his fire pit. A sign that her feelings

This had such a heavy vibe of scents associated with a person. And it's true. Everyone has a certain scent that we tend to associate with them. Loved the stanza with the fall leaves dancing. So good. Great poem. Gretchen
