Hi Roy, as I promised I am back with a six for this wonderful poem that I just read again, as I didn't want to miss anything. It was so beautiful and I loved it. I am including my initial reaction from when I bookcased it and wrote to tell you. So here is what I wrote to you that day.

Roy, I just now saw this and I am so very touched and honored that you have written this beautiful poem for Glen and I. I cannot give this a five, as it must have a six. So I will be back on Sunday with one for this wonderful poem that we will treasure forever, and ever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear Roy. You are an amazing friend. Love, Debi

Very nice artwork, presentation, and tribute for Debi and Gary. You did a good job with the poem. Your notes are appreciated, and I know Debi and her husband will appreciate all of it, too.

Very good opening verse, followed by images of love and choices. Nice reference to their special anniversary with "golden roots." The third verse is my favorite with comments about chateaus and a fort in Spain.
"But we will own the universe
when we sing love's refrain."

A very nice closing verse, as well.

Roy, you paint such a beautiful tribute to Glen and Debi. Yes, love conquers all especially when you compare chateaus in France and forts in Spain in comparison to owning the Universe "when we sing love's refrain."

This is a lovely tribute poem to Debi and her husband for their 50th wedding anniversary. So true, when you've spent so long together their are many joys and tears and memories. May they have many more together. Lovely Roy.

The author's words are filled with a definition of
what true love is. I pondered on these words and
found the first stanza to resonate with me. The
poem flows and connects well. The Bible quote in the author's notes - goes well with the theme of this

Beautiful poem to celebrate Debi and Glen's 50th Anniversary. 50 years is quite an achievement, and they can certainly take pride in the life they've built together. Today, it's easy for one to cut and run if the marriage encounters problems. As you write, one couple's love can have a positive effect on others. The children will be happier and acquaintances will be warmed by their example. Excellent rhyme and flow in this. judi
