Crying into empty air will do not good. God is there to help us with problems. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading and want to wish you luck with the contest.

I don't like to let too much writing go by without writing something edifying about God.

This is neat for the 20 syllable poem contest. It no point in crying to empty air. If you going to cry, you need someone around hear you. LOL Happiness is the better way to go. I love the picture and the things you share. I'm surprised you have the Herritage singers. They are a group of yourg people from my church. Over the years I've seem they many time in person and known some personally. Of course they became a much smaller group over the years. Their leader died not long so I know if they are still going.

I'm so sorry to hear about that death. You are one very fortunate person to have met that talented group. I've only admired them at a distance!

They started in 1971 in California by Max Mace and his wife Lucy. Mas died in Nov. of 2020 at 82. They wrre touring with a new leader as late as Nov of 2023. I saw them about five or six years ago for the last time in Chattanooga. Max was still with them.

My daughter loves Christian music. I saw a couple of singers and groups with her, but never the Heritage Singers. Sorry to hear of Mr. Mace's death. I wonder if there is a Music Ministry in Heaven? There is most likely much singing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this little write that bears an important message. We gain nothing by crying to the air, but we gain everything by crying out to God... we gain answered prayers, and by them, happiness untold. Also, I love the Heritage Singers! I grew up listening to them and still listen to them to this day.

Sorry it took me so long to get to your kind words. I just wrote to Beth Shelby and she knows some of the singers personally!

That?s so cool! We went to watch them once in LA when I lived in California. It was so neat to get to see them in person!

I think their music both glorifies God and would appeal to those who are not yet saved, as well.
