This isn't a long poem, but it covers a lot and shares many important reminders and thoughts. I like how you begin with God looking down at His creation, and end with the decision to use wisely the time God gives.

Thank you. I was taught to say what you have to say in as few words as possible. Yet do not deprive your readers of important thoughts at the same time.

It is true, none of us know our expiration date, and thus we must make the most of what time we have on this Earth. An important thing to remember as we leave the holidays behind and are inexorably drawn back into the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Excellent use of the rhyming couplet form and great suggestion in the last couplet, like the end of a sonnet or satori line in haiku.

Hi NOM1338, We always think we can do things or change our ways tomorrow, but all we really have is today....right now! I think what you give out will either haunt you in the end of lift you to new heights. I hope I always give with an open heart and lift the spirits of others. I'd like to think in the end people will think of me as someone they were glad they knew! Your poem is something that every one should strive for. Make good, every moment your alive on this earth! I enjoyed the moral of this piece and thought the pairing of these two lines particularly apt:
'Bear cubs engaging in playful scrimmage,
Industrious mankind made in God's image.'
One might say it lays bare humanity's contribution to the modern world.
