I stayed with this one. I made it all the way through. memories rush up at me , unpleasant ones. To much of the same feelings inhabit my brain. I may have a big I.Q., but I tell you, when I comes to personal entanglements, I am apparently dumb as a stump. I applaud your introspection.

This is well-written, quite vivid.
I waited, there was no sound but, that feeling still persisted. - I think this would read better if the first comma was a period and the second disappeared.

Thoughts on the chapter Duffy, a chapter of a book 2 called Spector look. One is on the shelf globally, call ghost. So you're actually coming right? Sort of the middle, there will be a book 3, so I write, that's a little bit of pros. I'll write in President say how I'm feeling. Then I'll go to the past relive. A memory Can you come back to the future again?Talk about how I am after written it. Let's the reader know that this is past events as opposed to present. So it would be a bit confusing coming in on the middle, i'm sure. You're welcome to go into my portfolio. If you wish read the ones before it'll help you understand what's going on. There were parts of this story that bought back my own ptsd, listening in the midst of impending violence. I literally hid in wall paneling of an attic and monitored my breath just to put off the amount of violence my ex-husband would do to me. If I went to the gym or college he was jealous. If I went no where he was jealous. If I spoke jealous didn't speak jealous and jealous was violent i couldn't win. Until I did and I was granted a lifelong restraining order. I realize it's not the same and I feel for you. I just want you to know that abusers are ill and they cause unthinkable pain. I was 21 to 26 then finally left I can't imagine abuse as a child. I was rapes in college at 19 and that alone nearly had me wanting to end my life foe years. I haven't yet read all If your writing but I care. Thank you for sharing so much and I think you are strong. Alex

It sounds like you were willing to share free food (chicken bucket), but Mr. D was having none of it. That is to say, he wanted things his way and got violent about it soon afterward. This is kind of a cliffhanger again!

Well, this is just further proof that you need to be away from that dangerous situation. There is nothing you can do to prevent what is going to happen. Mrs. D's culture has apparently brainwashed her into believing that either she's deserving of this kind of behavior or that she has not choice but to put up with it or she can't send her husband to jail or something. Either way, this isn't going to get any better. I hope to find out you didn't stay after this incident. Great chapter gal.
