This is an endearing story Gretchen and I hung onto your every word and wise advice here. Plenty of fish in the sea comes to mind, but it is hard when you are yearning for just one man. When it comes to the heart we can easily be hurt. After my husband died I fell for someone who caused me some heartache and even later in life you can still have the same feelings as when you are young. I got over it and moved on, but it is not easy. I knew he didn't care for me like I cared for him and that thought got me through it. A fine post Gretchen, love Dolly x

You do an excellent job with the flashback. Not everyone does so I applaud how well you did it. Grandma speaks from experience and knows better things are ahead for Ellie. Excellent descriptions and dialogue to bring your characters to life.
