I like chocolate milk too, so this poem appealed to me, even though you are being sappy, haha. I'm pleased you mentioned the milk moustache, but you didn't mention that it comes out your nose if you suddenly laugh while drinking it.

Thanks for reviewing. Good point - I didn't even think about the nose issue - lol. My grandkids are teens and still get excited if they find chocolate milk in my fridge.

I loved getting chocolate milk when I was a child. It really was a treat, usually reserved for school lunches before it was taken out of the schools. Thank you for bringing back that memory.

You are very welcome. Thank you for reviewing. Two of my grandkids are teens and still get excited when they find it in my fridge. For that matter, I still love it and I am 52 - lol.

Is there a child who does not enjoy chocolate milk, especially making it himself? Young readers should appreciate this short poem very much. Good luck in the contest. Rod

Thank you so much! My grandkids begged for it when they were little, and even now as teens they get excited if I have it in the fridge.

Children's poetry is allowed to be sappy. That is its appeal and this one is as sweet as can be. It is sure to bring a smile to a child's face, and possibly a cry for some chocolate milk!

Thank you so much! My grandkids used to beg for it when they were younger, and they still get excited if they find it in the fridge.
