Miranda is questioned concerning the death of Ed Preston, and although she didn't exactly like Ed, she would wish him dead, nor anyone for that matter, the advantage of her is that she has a good and faithful nature, well done, blessings Roy

. . . and the plot thickens, Gretchen. Waylon showed his caring
side helping Miranda. What a horrific sight Ed would've been. You
gave readers some great details about the personalities of all the
characters we've met so far. You left readers wondering what
happened to Ed and why. That's a whole nother chapter. Also,
did Aaron and Waylon find more this time ad they explored the
stinky pond?
You are doing a great job adding more and more to this story.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

You paint pictures that kick my memories into overdrive. This is the second part that spoken about Miranda sitting on the washer, and of course we've all heard those tales. But you brought to mind Buckwheat in the old Little Rascal shows bobbing up and down, 'round and 'round in the washing machine with soap bubbles in his hair. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I had a beagle named Buckwheat. Lol. My sister's dog was spanky. I'm glad you are able to get good visuals with this story. I appreciate your fun review. Gretchen

I had a dog named Spanky. Over the years your visuals have always been like lint picked from my brain. LOL.

Miranda is a suspect, but I doubt a very serious one. I'm sure there are a lot of people out to get him or maybe he actually died of natural causes, but I doubt it. Thank you for sharing. Still want to know about that body in the water.

I promise the next couple of chapters will deal with the body in the water. Lol. Thanks so much for this wonderful review. Gretchen

A perfect lead into the next chapter, Gretchen. I'm truly enjoying this saga. You have a special style. I know I've said it before, but your organization of scenes and your natural ability for dialogue are intriguing and keep your reader engaged and confident what is coming up next will be as good, if not better. Great work!

Oh my goodness. She's in an awkward position. Wrong place, wrong time. So well written, and I apologise for being out of sixes. It's realistic dialogue, and very vivid descriptions. Well done.

Hey, I am so glad your story, as gruesome as this bit is, is continuing. You certainly have a talent for fiction writing. I have been told I should do some fiction as well. No spags. Well done.

This was a good chapter, especially you navigated skillfully the trap of having to repeat information the reader already knows when a new character comes in.
I'm not the best judge, but my gut feeling says that this chapter should have had a warning on it for language. Better safe than sorry. Kate xx

I guess it comes at no surprise to anyone that she would become a suspect. At least a person of interest. If I were the murderer and I know what Miranda had said in the store, I'd have taken the time after killing Preston, to cut off his "tallywhacker". Ain't a jury in the world wouldn't convict Miranda if that happened. LOL, a great scene!
