Daedalian plan: WWI pilots bound together by a spirit of aerial camaraderie and patriotism. I don't think Sphinx had given thought to filing a flight plan. It must have a duplicitous meaning for Egyptians.

do you know where Daedalian plan comes from and what is he alluding to? Wikipedia has this:
In Greek mythology, Daedalus (/ˈdiːdələs, ˈdeɪdələs, ˈdɛdələs/; Greek: Δαίδαλος; Latin: Daedalus; Etruscan: Taitale) was a skillful architect and craftsman, seen as a symbol of wisdom, knowledge and power. He is the father of Icarus, the uncle of Perdix, and possibly also the father of Iapyx. Among his most famous creations are the wooden cow for Pasiphaë, the Labyrinth for King Minos of Crete which imprisoned the Minotaur, and wings that he and his son Icarus used to escape Crete. It was during this escape that Icarus did not heed his father's warnings and flew too close to the sun; the wax holding his wings together melted and Icarus fell to his death.

Great response to the writing prompt. I like the way you took each stanza of the original poem and responded to the stanza. It is a very original and well-crafted poem. Well done, my friend.

thanks I thought it might be a bit too long.

This is amazing work. The amount of thought and sheer energy you must have put into this is astounding to me.
-So, let me just say that as I started reading I told myself this is either brilliance or brilliant. It reminds me of a movie and as it unfolded, I really got into this. As it progressed I could really see the twist you put on it, even hilarity amongst absurdity and obscurity.
-It seems to be somewhat in the tradition of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, a movie about life and death, the meaning of life and each question brings them to the next problem in the film.
-I have to say, you have some sparkling lines here: Another impenetrable world salad, AND, time is indeed a false answer
And in some more of the the words of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern: Words, words, THATS all we have to go on and...By this time tomorrow, we might have forgotten everything we ever knew.
Great content.

thanks I had fun with it. I still don't understand the poem entirely.
