Ric, not quite sure what to make of that interlude in my quest for the missing part of Tucker's story. Well written and obviously a man's story. Withholding comments for now....I was not drawn to either of the characters. Esther

Thank you so much, Esther, for taking time out to read my foolishness. These charter's aren't either one people any of us would be drawn to. But they are certainly not run of mill types you'd meet every day, hopefully. A heartbroken old man, hustled by a thief, who refuses to be taken advantage of without retaliation. The scammer getting what she has coming to her. LOL. I appreciate the review.

I saw this coming a mile away, and he did too.

He let it play because he knew she held the key to the folks that had been clumsily following him. He knew she would rob him, but was unsure whether she would completely offer herself up, but one can dream. The Fenilli brothers were not expecting retribution, but then, he wasn't sure their elevators went all the way to the top. When they killed that remarkable beauty , he decided negotiations were a mute point.

Wow, I'm so honored to wake up and find all your reviews of old stuff that offers nothing in return. Thank you so much for your generous review and kind words, and most of all your valuable time and interest. I appreciate YOU!

Yesiree Bob I am quite the ticket. I love stories that fire my mind so much , I have scenarios running in my head.

I don't have any sixes left or you'd have it.

I was rooting for true love, but it seemed too easy from the start and, in the end, it was a sham.

What a great telling of a night in one's life - an unexpected encounter with a sexy, engaging woman who wants nothing more than to take you to bed. Too easy.

Did he really just smile at her misfortune?

This held my interest from the start - what a gifted storyteller you are.

True love is too easy to write, and in real life, there always seem to be obstacles to keep it from happening or tear it apart. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a happily-ever-after world? But without conflict, where would the story come from? Did he really just smile? Why not? She got exactly what she asked for, taking advantage of a brokenhearted old man. LOL. Thanks so much, Pam, for going back to read an old story that offers no reward. I appreciate your kind words and generous review. But most of all, YOU!

That was absolutely wonderful to read. It caught my short attention span and made me feel sympathy for the protagonist in such little time. My horror writer intrusive thoughts kept wanting something to happen, and I wasn't disappointed at all. The plot twist made me laugh, and the ending was satisfying.

Thank you so much, Seanna, for your generous review and kind words. This story isn't for everyone. I kind of like my characters, like to have variable sides, like most of us. In this case, a heartbroken side to a monster. LOL. Appreciate you taking time to read this. :-)

Wow! A blockbuster story! Even without names, your characters sprang to life, the 'Lingua Italia' gave authority to your dialog. Your description of the Black Widow Lady prompted some, um, memories of a similar encounter, a memory I thought was safely tucked away under lock and key.
And hey, an "hourglass of boobs and booty?" Perfect. Everything else was just icing on the cake.
A very interesting finale, with some regrets for a lost orchid that might have been saved with a little care.
Great work!

Thank you so much, Irish, for your generous review and kind words. I'm just a crazy old man with nothing better to do than make up goofy stories. LOL. I've just posted the final chapter-7 of my Tucker series that's still paying handsomely. It can be read without all the other chapters, but each one builds off the other and gives explanations, making them better as a group. LOL. I appreciate your encouraging remarks and taking time out to read my story!

Hey, I'm going to start on the Tucker series this morning, sounds interesting. Also, I learn a lot just by reading, and sometimes get an inspiration to get to work on something my Muse has been bugging me to write.

I've been out of town since early this morning and just now saw this message when I got home. I've already seen where you read three of the Tucker series. They would probably been better in order, but I just appreciate that you even bothered to read stories that don't offer a reward. Much appreciated!

Thank you so much, Katharine, for taking time to read one of my silly stories. Yes, it's all fiction, but I try to make it seem as realistic as possible to keep readers guessing. I greatly appreciate your stopping by, along with your kind words and generous review.

After Terry's made-up interview I was prompted to see who RicMyworld was and review a work of his. Very nicely done, and totally fictitious though until I turned to page three thought it may have been real.

This was a very engaging story with a tragic ending. Yet realistic. A male friend of mine who had travel to Columbia had a similar experience, except, they stole his kidney and left him on a brick of ice.

Thank you so much, Maria, for taking time to read my story. Luckily, this story is fiction. I'm sorry about your friend's misfortune. Sadly, those things happen. I too had a close friend who visited a woman he had met online, in Columbia. He was robbed and murdered by the woman's real boyfriend and two others. Appreciate your generous rating and review. Ric

Hi Ric
When I first read this, was wondering if a sympathy card was in
order or a curious latter day "Believe it or not" mystery. Relieved
to note it was a fiction story, ultimately quite intrigued by its
blend of post breakup blues and an incredulous disbelief of being
seduced by a steamy siren with all flirtations and baiting in full
steam and passionate pleasures ad infinitum!
I found the suggestive and licentous dialogue between the two most
compelling and probing a carnal mix of typical pick up and " tease
me some more" a story within a story in itself and a perfect set up
for being "taken' and shaken' which it was for both; to each their
own proclivity and perfect 'user manual' misread or dismissed ending.
Your dialogue and descriptions throughout are searing and sensational
according to emotion and desires at play. Great write!

A surprise peek at yours inevitable after yours on review of my poem,
"Best & Dearest" several days ago. Especially re the intriguing comment
of 'popping into your mind' momentary puzzlement....which I did
comment on; but appears you have not yet read yet; but perhaps
will eventually? Maybe not so puzzling or crazy after all.
Hope all is going great with you, and thanks again for the deligtful
surprise!
Best wishes always, Ronni

    Hello, Ronni,
It's always a pleasure to receive your reviews, comments and, best of all, to know you liked my story. We cross many paths every day and why one person lingers in our memory or their thoughts and views matter more than others is hard to decipher. Especially those we've hardly communicated with other than a few words on a page. Thanks for taking time to read my story and the smile on my face. I hope all is well in your world!
    Wishing you the best! Ric

    Hi Ric
A very wise and considerate reflection
indeed, so in tune with your always thoughtful, gentlemanly nature
    and positive, objective compliment!
which I have always admired, likewise
with smiles and pleasure, as they
have occured periodically on FS communicated 'between a few words on a page.'
Even momentary smiles and pleasures few and far between, are
touching gifts and pleasures 'as it is,
    when it is'.....Amen.
    Thanks for timely reply.
    Best always, Ronni

Not enough adjectives to describe how good this one is. The plot was excellent with great twists and turns, especially at the end (karmas a bitch). Great development of the protagonist's character--self-effacing and yet charming. Great use of dialogue that is snappy and good banter between the woman and the protagonist. Obviously, the twist at the end makes the story rreally work and brings it around full circle. Great job.

Thank you so much, Tim, for your kind words and generous review. It's always a pleasure when those I read and enjoy every day can find something nice to say about what my rambling mind might come up with. LOL. I appreciate YOU!
