Excellent, honest, gripping. And yet God's grace is the still the balm which continues to heal and transform.
God bless you and continue to strengthen you.

This is a beautiful poem and I like the way you've titled each stanza. It reminds me a little of the seven stages of grief. It is filled with imagery and rhymes beautifully. Splendid work.

Comment from Janice Canerdy
This is a truly excellent piece. The stanzas are like short poetic paragraphs in a vividly descriptive personal essay about the whole gamut of
emotions--all awakened or enhanced by the falling raindrops.

It's a very clever poem. I liked your use of the stages of death with the dropping of the rain. I'm sorry that the rain seemed to trigger some depressive thoughts. Hope you're doing better.

This is a beautifully written poem. It has a nice flow and rhyme scheme.
Depression
There's sadness in the falling rain.It penetrates right from the start.a beastly haze of mist and fog that permeates my mind and heart. I can surely relate to this poem. I've lost 4 close loved ones in two years. Sometimes I don't know how I'm going to get through it. Very well written. Beautiful photo as well.

I really liked the way you are able to channel emotions mixed with falling rain, in which is as poetic as any.
It is not easy when the mind is saddened to portray without being too deep, yet you have kept this beautifully balanced, in thought that I have never known the author to be saddened of anything, for she is always a pillar for joy and expression, so I know this goes deep.
A couple of dots I might change, but it is a worthy and beautifully expressed work, and I hope tomorrow the roses will bloom, and the sunshine will bring both solace and laughter.
Such a positive person you are, and even in distress, your poise is there for all to see.
My best wishes.
Be well.

Thank you Roy for your kind and encouraging review and those special sparkling stars. You are often my inspiration with your beautiful poetry, stellar imagery and profound feelings you convey.
Usually I am a positive person, sometimes known as "Pollyanna". Haha But, sometimes life gets "too real" and I let down my guard and there I am in the midst of a funk. Thankfully, the sun does come out and the beautiful blossoms bloom and the contagious laughter prevails again.
Blessings and Happy New Year my friend

very powerful and moving poem about living with grief and lost. how simple things can trigger a memory or two. Your poem nicely captures that feeling.

You have most definitely used the sequence of the emotion of grief. Tying the emotion into part of nature was creative. With each stage of the grief, no matter what the cause of the grief, you explored it to your advantage by using appropriate words for example hiding relates to denial, anger is fury, sadness for depression, bargaining uses the rivulet that runs its own course and being resigned to have gratitude and grace in the end.
I think this poem is well done. You have given this a lot of thought and put it together nicely. Thank you for sharing.

I see that writers are taking on issues that have a deep well to draw their concepts from. Good luck on your works .

I wish I had a sixer left for this beautiful post, so well expression these stages of grief. Having been there many times (for two husbands and my youngest son, though as an adult) I can attest to these feelings. Your poem spoke to my heart. What more can we ask. Well done. Take care.

The author's words are clear, descriptive, interesting and creative. I pondered on the first word of each stanza and liked each stanza as it
was expressed well. The artwork is perfect and compliments this
poem well.
