Very exciting work. Will Matthew's and private investigator Noff's interference be a help or hindrance to the Sheriff. Matthew wants to throw his money and influence around to find his father's killer. Aaron Noff seems full of himself. He does have a jump on Sheriff's department with his information about Father Brian. Sheriff Oleson doesn't seem like one to let these latecomers get the better of him and his department. Oh, that last scene is something, with the unknown perpetrator removing Fritz's eyes. Then he is startled by the threatening voice. Really spooky stuff. Exciting reading. judi

I've always been intrigued with this story. It seems that Father Brian has been holding back, so I'm keeping an eye on him! judi

This one is certainly the most thrilling and dark chapter so far. Pity you posted today as my sixes don't arrive till tomorrow. The artwork is great and the chapter faultless.

If I had a six, it would be yours. This novel is professional in its style and proficiency. I am extremely impressed. And I want to read more!

Bev,
The chapter is written very well with an abundance of action, conflict, suspense, and mystery. Matthew Buell threatens to up the stakes by offering a $10,000.00 reward as an incentive to find his missing father Fritz. This is in addition to hiring Aaron Noff, a private investigator.
We now know that Fritz is dead and partially dissected, apparently by the killer.
I found the chapter to be very interesting and challenging.

Suggestion of a deceased energy at the end is duly noted. The "surgeon" is not a member of the medical profession. This is very well written.
