Hi Dean,
You just had to toss a ghost in, didn't you, lol. This is a magnificent presentation. I'm a little confused by the last stanza. If you are being called home to the Lord, why do you say you'll never see purple's majesty. Never mind, I think I get it. This fellow has committed too many sins during his life.
Hugs,
Lou

Thanks, Lou, for that wonderful review. But, notice I did not say which master my protagonist serves. Perhaps he, himself, is unsure...
Thanks for the wonderful review.

I know what you mean, Dean, when Brooke asks, you say, "sure, let me give it a shot." Though off the beaten path, it's a thoughtful, sensitive write reflecting on life and the future. Things we think about all the time. Beautiful back drop and color scheme. Well done, Bill

Dean, this has replaced the Celtic warrior poem as one of my favorites from you. The scene you have set here is so eerily serence and symbiotic of your voice; I'm truly astounded. Your level or commitment is remarkable, and the attention to detail is what puts these pictapoems over. The linework was rich and wonderfully vivid. The background reminded me of the final scene of Gladiator, when Russel Crowe is walking in the field towards his family as he passes. The music was the perfect touch. A fabulous job overall here, thank you for sharing.

Wow, what a wonderful review, elchupakabra, I really appreciate that. Gladiator is one of my favorite movies. So sad...
Thanks, again, my friend!

This piece is totally awesome. The writer shows the versatility of his mind. The rhyming is excellent, the flow is smooth as this piece is soothing. This is why I don't like running out of sixes. Excellent job my brother.

Thanks very much, Righteous Riter. The fact that you liked it this much means far more to me than a six star review...

I wish I had a six left. As this is the appropriate rating for this wonderful piece of poetic art. From the music to the colors and gently flowing stanzas this is what I see when I think of poetry. So Very Well Done...Teresa.

And now my beloved Vikings wear the color and are the purple people eaters. Now there's an inspiration. Meanwhile, this poem is very lovely in every aspect. The pictopoem format blends perfectly to the verse. Exquisite aabb rhyming in clean tetrameter give this a poetic pace that reads beautifully. The six quatrains balance beautifully. You add a touch of old English with words like "doth'" and "yonder". Nicely done!

This is at least ten tomes better than your last poem. I do wish that I had more than a five to give you. Would you be kind enough to read one of my novels on the site? I would like to know your honest thoughts.

I sure will, david. Do you have a preference as to which one you would like me to read, or can I choose for myself?

Paradise Lost is about a homeless man
Memories in the Mirror is about my childhood and is true
two different styles of writing, you choose

Well Dean, you have outdone yourself with this one, and I wasn't sure that was possible. I wish I had a six. This was beautifully written, every line captured me, it had such a nice easy rhythm, and the message is one that speaks to me. Music and video was incredible. I loved it. :) Sandra

This is an interesting diversion by the author. The writer takes the reader down a different road with this poem. I love this change of pace and the skill of the author can still be seen, even though it isn't dark and forbidding as usual.

Thanks, Tomes. However, there's more darkness, just around the corner. There always is with me...

That's good news. I look forward to it.

Well done Dean. The color of purple is royalty, Blue, deity, all portray a mystery in God's path toward the promise in the Rainbow. The Word is full of "Behold I show you a mystery!" Brooke and Sawyer will like this.
