The young cannot grasp the old ways. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. The suspense factor is building.

Wouldn't it be lovely to live someplace secluded for. The rest of the world. I can smell the smoke from the fireplace now. Mmmmm. I love the description of the deer encounter. I love nature. This mystery keeps getting more interesting. How do you pronounce, "Uncivil"?

Hi, Joy. I'm very fortunate to live close to nature. We have deer and turkey running out in front of us all the time.
The pronounciation for Unci, Uhn-see.
Thanks for the great review and your deeply valued support, my friend.

this is very wel lwritten writingfundimension, you did an excellent job writing this chapter where jana and rick go to interview jana's uncle and learns more about indian customs. he says it was a manifestation of the evil within the murderer that he saw beside the victim. i enjoyed reading it

partner, Detective Jana Burke navigated the approach to her uncle's home. (comma after Burke I think).
Great chapter. I,too, learned Indian time when I worked on a reservation for a while.
Enjoyable, my friend~Debbie
