This has long been one of my all-time favorite songs - it never occurred to me that Puff the Dragon might appear in caterpillar form, but what the heck, why not? Thank you so much. I didn't realize it was fantasy fiction until I had already entered suneagle's contest... Needless to say, I gave it a shot for the first time. As for the flash fiction...I am sure someone will correct me...Thanks for enjoying the simple flight of fantasy for just a moment.

What a cute story!. I always loved that song, "Puff the Magic Dragon." It would take a child's imagination to turn a catapiller into a dragon but anything is possible if you believe.

I'll be better after his surgery this morning...We are just getting ready to leave for the hospital...Last time we ended up rushing to Chicago for emergency surgery...I pray that doesn't happen again...but they say there is a good chance it could...Lots of good thoughts please...Carol

Thanks for catching that. I wrote it so fast this morning. Wanted to post before going to the hospital. My Michael is having surgery. Appreciate the review, I have never written fantasy so this was a stretch for me. Thanks again.

Thank you....I appreciate it. It's only cataracts but last time his left one exploded. I had two hours to drive him to Chicago for emergency surgery or he'd go blind...They are more prepared this time..and a different surgeon...Though the possibility is still there. I'll just do a lot of praying...Thanks again.

I have a friend that is now blind in one eye due to the same problem. Scary situation.
